We all have ups and downs in life, but sometimes difficult situations can feel too much to navigate alone. As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I have almost a decade of experience helping people with everything from burn-out, anxiety and loss to suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem, identity and spiritual and faith related issues. I am an integrative practitioner which means I use a range of different techniques to best suit your needs. It is essential that you trust your counsellor and are able to open up to them, which is why I offer an initial consultation free of charge to help you decide if I'm the right fit for you.
We enter into an agreement in a spirit of collaboration and exploration. Together we find ways to help you move forward.
The style of counselling used is described as integrative. This means valuable insights gained through various different psychological theories can be employed and tailored to your individual needs.
The Therapeutic Relationship
Two heads are better than one - but only if they trust and understand each other. Collaboration and empathy are key and the relationship we co-create will be at the heart of the process.
